Our HistoryOriginally constructed in 1959 and opened as a dirt track (Perry Speedway) in 1960. By the early 70's the track was paved and the concrete retaining wall constructed. In 1984, the macadam was once again covered with a layer of dirt for a time period of 14 years. In 1998, under new ownership, WCIS returned back to the highly competitive SST asphalt racing surface. Daniel Majchrzak promotes racing in Olean NY |
Perry NY; Son of Wyoming County International Speedway owner, Jim Majchrzak, Daniel prepared his 1/2scale Mini-Cup racer for the motorsport season at the BullRing. The 1/3rd mile, Perry asphalt oval is the perfect size for this style car, providing ample racing room for great competition. Drivers can begin racing a Mini-Cup at the age of 10yrs and continue well past 99. The chassis is fully adjustable, and helps young racers understand the basic characteristics of setting up a racecar

Teams need to be aware that the rule for tire durometer on both the SST Mods and SST SuperStocks will be deturmined by the average number, minus 5 points. This will determin the minimum legal durometer found for the current temp and track conditions of all the cars still running at the end of the given event.
